A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was considering launching something like a Patreon due to my wide coverage of all things LEGO gaming having caused the channel’s performance to become incredibly unpredictable in recent months.
Well, after much thinking and much reading of your feedback, I’ve decided to go ahead and launch memberships over on Fourthwall, a site very similar to Patreon where you can do both one-time and recurring donations.
For recurring donations, I’ve created two tiers that offer perks in exchange for your support: one is mainly to support my work and gets you a monthly newsletter with my thoughts on the state of LEGO gaming and my channel, while the latter includes sneak peaks at upcoming content, including more experimental projects, and your name featured at the end of my longer videos.
I’ve already gone ahead and added rewards for the prior months and I intend on continuing to do so, especially with new types of content that I’m planning for the channel later this year. You can expect longer, less-edited videos like live commentaries and interviews, and potentially even livestreams long-term.
All of this is still very much a work in progress so, if you have any feedback relating to the perks, the prices, the platform and / or the content being offered to members, please let me know. I want to make sure this is as successful as possible as, otherwise, I may have to reduce the size of my coverage in the near future, which I really don’t want to do.
And, if you can’t support me this way, that’s perfectly fine. Just watching my content, regardless of whether I’m covering the latest and greatest AAA title or a smaller fan-made game, helps just as much.
As per always, thank you so much for your continued support! ❤️
